The “Backpacker with Dog”. This Birdie is a funny one, because it is a bit absurd. Especially, the dog between the head and the backpack. Also, the backpack is a bit too tall to be realistic. Probably, that’s why the backpacker is looking not all too happy. I consider this the first cartoonish styled drawing in this series.
To be honest, I was not in a deep meditative state here, because this piece was drawn at a cafe. However, my mind was quiet and I definitely did not know beforehand what I was going to draw. It still just happened without thinking. In addition, I did not keep at all time the usual distance between the work and my eyes to keep the picture more unclear. But still, as usual drawn with the left hand without my glasses on.
